Susan
Team Lead
Hailing from West Virginia, Susan has lived in Southwest Florida since graduating WVU in 1984 with an Associate degree in Nursing. After 5 years as a LPN, she decided to try Dentistry.
Susan has more than 35 years in dental assisting and clinical supervision. She’s very passionate about faith, family and charity. Susan has two grown sons, Joshua and Jacob, and daughter Summer who just graduated high school. Susan and her husband Tom live in North Fort Myers with Summer and their Boxer fur-baby Justice.
Susan loves traveling with her family to historic places around the US, cooking out with family and friends and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season.
Ashley
Dental Assistant
Ashley was born and raised in North Carolina. While in North Carolina Ashley attended college in Charlotte where she obtained the official status for a Certified Dental Assistant. Her Southern accent is still strong (and she packed it up and brought it along) when she and her husband Kevin moved to North Port in 2010. Ashley has been blessed with her beautiful daughter Kadence, and two rescue fur doggies named Piper and Stella. Ashley loves spending time with her family, visiting our beautiful beaches, and exploring new places. She is always up for new ideas and suggestions!
Heather
Patient Advocate
Heather was born and raised here in Port Charlotte. She graduated from Charlotte Technical College in 2016 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Heather enjoys getting to know our patients on a personal level, and is dedicated to making sure every patient who comes into our office feels cared for and welcome. She and her husband Greg of 16 years have two beautiful daughters, Jordan and Devin. They also have a 6 year old rescue pitbull named Douglass. Heather loves spending all her time with family. Some of her other hobbies include reading books, watching and listening to musicals, and trying to keep plants alive!
Kacie
Patient Advocate
Kacie was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She moved here two years ago and loves it. She graduated From Eastern Suffolk BOCES technical College in 2008 with her Certificate in Dental Assisting. While living on Long Island she expanded her experience by helping in the front office as well as assisting the Doctor, becoming a Jack of all trades. Her skills have helped in the same areas on our team here at Soul Dental. She loves to talk and get to know our patients on a personal level to help create plans best tailored to their specific needs. Kacie is passionate about helping people.
Kacie lives in Punta Gorda with her Husband Eddie and two beautiful young daughters, Ella and Mia. As a family they enjoy the beautiful weather Florida has to offer by going to the pool or beach as much as they can. They also enjoy getting to know people and being a part of the community at their family owned Barbershop (Pioneers Cuts ) in Port Charlotte.
Christa
Director of Marketing and Relationships
Christa was born and partially raised in Rochester, NY before moving to sunny Naples, FL as a young girl. This is where she met her amazing would-be husband.
But first, she attended college at The Florida State University where she competed in Track & Field and received her BS degree in Physical Education. Christa taught and coached High School in the state of Florida and Texas, married, and started her family of four beautiful children and a fur-baby Cane Corso named Samson.
As God would have it, her experience in coaching and her love for people would serve well. After years of being a Director of Marketing, she excitedly decided to come alongside Dr Oliver Cabrera and Soul Dental to compassionately care for the Port Charlotte Community.
Christa enjoys time with her family, supporting her kids in sports, volunteering, traveling, learning all about local restaurants and businesses, engaging in church, as well as meeting and connecting others for a greater purpose.
